Titan Mold Assessment
Booking policies
Effective September 29, 2026
These policies apply to every assessment booked with Titan Mold Assessment (“Titan,” “we,” “us”), online or by phone. Checking the box at booking means you agree to them. They’re written to be read, so the short version comes first.
The short version
- Payment: paid in full when you book.
- Arrival window: your assessor may arrive up to 1 hour before or after your scheduled time. If it will be outside that window, we’ll contact you first.
- Cancel or reschedule 24+ hours ahead: no fee. Full refund, or move to a new time.
- Less than 24 hours’ notice: $100 non-refundable. No-show: $150 non-refundable. The rest is refunded or applied to a new appointment.
- Before we arrive: move personal items and large furniture away from walls you’re concerned about.
- Service area: if the property turns out to be outside our area, we’ll contact you first. A trip charge may apply.
- We may cancel any appointment before it starts and refund you in full.
- Your report: once paid, yours to use and share for the property. Titan keeps the copyright, and only you, as the named client, may rely on it.
- Disputes go to binding arbitration in Florida.

1. Payment
The full price of the assessment you select is charged when you book. After-hours appointments (weekday evenings and Saturdays, when offered) include a $100 after-hours fee, shown in the price before you pay. Optional services beyond what your assessment includes, like additional samples, are recommended on site and are never added without your approval.
2. Scheduling
Online bookings need at least 24 hours’ notice. For anything sooner, contact us and we’ll try to fit you in.
Arrival window: While we strive to honor assessment scheduling requests, your assessor may arrive up to 1 hour before or after your scheduled time. If your assessor will arrive outside of that window, we will contact you to confirm or reschedule.
3. Cancellations, rescheduling & no-shows
- 24 hours or more before your appointment: cancel for a full refund or reschedule at no charge, using the link in your confirmation or by calling (689) 356-MOLD.
- Less than 24 hours before: a $100 non-refundable late-cancellation fee applies.
- No-show: a $150 non-refundable fee applies. It’s a no-show if no one is available to give us access, or we can’t get into the property, within 30 minutes of the scheduled start.
- After any fee, the rest of your payment is refunded or applied to a rescheduled service, whichever you choose.
4. Our right to cancel
We may cancel or reschedule any appointment before it begins, for any reason. Examples include an address outside our service area, unsafe conditions, severe weather, illness, or a scheduling conflict. If we cancel and you don’t want a new time, we refund everything you paid. That refund is our only obligation when we cancel.
5. Service area & trip charges
We serve Orange and Seminole counties and parts of Osceola and Polk counties. Online booking checks the property’s ZIP code, and the address you enter at booking is the one we plan around. Please make sure both are correct.
- If we find before your appointment that the property is outside our service area, we’ll contact you. We can quote a trip charge for you to accept, or cancel and refund you in full.
- If we only learn at the property that it’s outside our service area, or that the address was wrong, a trip charge of $75 plus $0.75 per mile applies, with mileage measured round trip between Orlando and the property. It’s deducted from your refund, or added to the appointment if you want us to go ahead.
6. Preparing the property
Before your appointment, move personal items and large furniture away from any walls where you suspect growth. Also clear the way to attics, crawlspaces, HVAC equipment, and the areas you want evaluated. For safety and liability reasons, our assessors don’t move heavy furniture, appliances, or valuables.
We’re not responsible for items you didn’t move. We may not be able to evaluate areas that are blocked. Those areas will be noted as not evaluated, and returning for them may be a separate visit.
Please complete the pre-inspection questionnaire you receive after booking. It covers what we’d otherwise ask on site.
7. Access & safety
You confirm that you own the property or are authorized to allow the assessment, and that we have permission to enter the areas to be evaluated. Please have utilities on, and secure pets.
Your assessor may wear a respirator or other protective equipment indoors. That can make conversation difficult, so ask your questions before your assessor goes in, or in the questionnaire. We may stop or limit an assessment if conditions are unsafe.
8. Scope of the assessment
- Assessments are non-invasive unless you approve otherwise in writing. We don’t cut, drill, or remove building materials without your permission.
- A Limited Assessment covers one defined area or concern. It doesn’t include sampling or a written report, and it doesn’t evaluate the rest of the property.
- Findings and lab results reflect conditions at the time of the visit and in the areas evaluated. Conditions can change, and hidden conditions may not be visible or detectable.
- An assessment isn’t medical advice, an insurance coverage decision, a code or structural inspection, or a guarantee about future conditions.
9. Your report
- When your assessment includes a written report, we deliver it after the assessment and any laboratory results are complete.
- Titan Mold Assessment, LLC owns the copyright in every report, including its text, photographs, data, and protocols.
- Once your assessment is paid in full, you have a permanent right to use, copy, and share your report for purposes related to the property it covers, including with contractors, insurers, real estate professionals, buyers, tenants, and attorneys.
- A report may not be altered or presented as prepared for a different property, date, or client.
- Each report is prepared for the client named in it. No other party may rely on it without Titan’s written consent.
10. Independence
Under Florida law (§468.8419, Florida Statutes), a mold assessor may not perform or offer to perform mold remediation on a property they assessed within the previous 12 months. Our recommendations are made independently of who performs any remediation.
11. Communications
By booking, you agree that we may contact you by text and email about your appointment. That includes confirmations, reminders, scheduling changes, your questionnaire, and your results. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts. Promotional texts and emails are sent only if you check the optional box at booking.
12. Limitation of liability
By booking, you agree that Titan’s total liability for any claim arising from an assessment is limited to the amount you paid for that assessment, to the fullest extent allowed by law. We aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited under Florida law.
13. Disputes & arbitration
If a concern comes up, please call or email us first. Most issues can be resolved directly. If not:
- Any dispute arising from or relating to your booking or our services will be resolved by binding arbitration in Orange County, Florida, under the Florida Arbitration Code (Chapter 682, Florida Statutes).
- You waive the right to a jury trial for claims arising out of your use of our services. Any such claim that proceeds in court for any reason will be decided by a judge, not a jury.
- Any claim must be brought within one year of when the party bringing it knew, or reasonably should have known, of the facts giving rise to it. Claims not brought within that time are waived.
- The prevailing party is entitled to recover its reasonable attorneys’ fees, costs, and arbitration fees.
- Claims are brought individually, not as part of a class or representative action.
- These policies are governed by Florida law.
14. General
We may update these policies from time to time. The version in effect when you book applies to that booking. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Questions? Call (689) 356-MOLD or email [email protected].
